A favorite tripel or triple of mine comes from just south of Brussels. In the little town of Beersel, Belgium are two great breweries. Oud Beersel, along with making good lambic based beers, brews the Bersalis Tripel. Although having a lot of alcohol, this is a great beer. If you need a lighter version try the Bersalis Kadet. If you are in brussels and have access to a car I would recommend taking an early day trip to Beersel to visit Oud Beersel brewery and 3 Fonteinen (the other Beersel brewery).
